I have been writing since a home computer was introduced into my childhood home back in 1994 and I loved the places my works took me; the same sensation most readers get from reading, myself included. When I began my comic strip Dead End County Monster, roughly fifteen years ago, the internet was a somewhat different place. Creators took the 'Radio Station' approach: Give away the art for free and make your money from sponsorships, merchandising and patrons who receive extra art for a subscription fee. Today, I feel that new writers want to post their books for sale online and make money right away as a starting point. I did this very thing myself, in 2023 when I independently published my first novel, Mining For Teeth. At the time, I thought that method was the only way to self-publish.

Thinking back to my comic strip days and the success I had with the endeavor, I figured, Why not do the same with writing? So I did. I regularly publish free, original horror stories throughout the year at no cost or at the lowest cost possible, depending on the distributor. You can get these stories for free on this website, on all podcast platforms and at Google Play Books. A purchasing fee may be charged if you find them elsewhere.

I'm glad that readers are interested in my work and I smile every time I see another download from my site or free-purchased from Google. The free stories will never stop coming and I'm happy to contribute to the reading community.
